My name is Niq and I'm glad you've found my About page. I'm an Austrian UX Designer from Graz and right now I live in Vienna.

Niq with Q

The reason why I'm Niq and not Nick, Nic or Nik is because I choose to be different and want to set myself apart from all the other Nic-k-cks out there (shout out!). My actual name is Nicolas, but nobody ever calls me that. That's why I'm Niq with Q.

Work

Since 2020, I have been working as a User Experience Designer at Accenture Song. Ever since I started this job, I have been working almost entirely on client projects in the public sector, which is how I got introduced to Web Accessibility.

Blog

In the beginning of 2023, I finally decided to start writing my blog about Accessibility, User Experience Design & Productivity. Over the years, I have acquired a lot of knowledge about Accessibility and started to share my knowledge with co-workers. At some point, I wanted to extend my audience to the world wide web, so here you go.

More about me

In my free time, I like to read, write, travel, listen to podcasts, play video games and be out in the nature. I love hiking and Austria is just the right place for that.
