Randomised Profile Pictures 🎰

The 90s were the decade of collectibles! Most present in my memory are the Aqua Balls, rubbery heads which you could soak in water and squirt it out again through a small hole. There were dozens of different faces to collect: a football, a frog, maybe a zombie? They came packaged in shiny aluminium bags. I loved the mystery of buying them—you never knew which one you'd get.

This kind of mystery hasn't yet been introduced to my personal website. Until today. Derek gave me the idea for randomised profile pictures over 2 years ago, and it actually took me this long to implement this on my own website. It must have been during an inspiration phase when I had too many ideas floating around in my head and I just never found time for building this. Anywayyyyyyyyy: Randomised Profile Pictures!

There's now a multitude of proper profile pictures (OK, I admit: not all are proper) to see when you visit my home page (and scroooooooll to the bottom):

• Me eating cake.
• Me slurping delicious soup.
• Me wearing a hat.
• Me looking handsome as fuck.
• Me looking sad with a scooter helmet on because I had to return said scooter helmet (and scooter) that day and got really attached to it.
• Me as a 3 year-old wearing sunglasses and a pacifier. In my hands and wrapped around my neck are lanes of matchbox car sets. What a gem! 😂
• Me wearing cool sun glasses.
• Me in a bear suit.
• Bad hair day.
• I can't spoiler any more! You'll have to find out for yourself (but don't get your hopes up—no picture of me squirting water out of my mouth like an Aqua Ball).
